Effortless

Effort, does it go in vain?
Ideas and ambitions have been slain.
The world may not be Candy cane.
To navigate this without said pain,
Would be really a lifetime's gain.
To give up the hubris of a lions mane.
Sometimes, to intentionally be insane,
Life shan't ever have a single lane.
